2024-09-19?PIR human detection is an electronic component capable of detecting human body heat, officially known as "Passive Infrared Sensor,"also referred to as a "human infrared sensor." It detects the presence of humans by sensing infrared radiation in the surrounding environment. The human body has a constant temperature, typically around 37 degrees Celsius, and therefore emits infrared rays with a specificwavelength of about 10 micrometers. Passive infrared detectors work by detecting these approximately 10-micrometer infrared raysemitted by the human body.
